Ralphe Thorpe is not talking anything new here but i am afraid his presentation has mis information.
For one it is not possible to connect Louisville International Airport and Bluegrass Firld
The reason NO tracks near Bluegrass Field closest ril is former Southern Railway line between Lexington and Tyrone Ky and that is 2 to 3 miles as the crow flies.
CSX tracks do nnot serve Oxmoor or Mall Saint Mathews closest point is Hubbards Lane near Westport Road or Lyndon Lanre and Old Lagrange Road
There are more than 2 trains per day on the entire line 24 in each direction between Anchorage and Central Avenue Papa Johns on CSX
Can be done by 2012----- Could take that long to bring CSX on board to begin discussions
The trains names was not Northern Dancer a Canadian Bred Horse Belive so would not Man O War Citation both Ky breds be beter names
Perhaps he should be more informed before he presents his arguement
